Mobilgard™ 450 NC is a zinc-free, chlorine-free lubricant specifically formulated to meet requirements of heavily loaded diesel engines manufactured by EMD used in marine applications. It is suitable for engines using distillate fuels with sulphur content up to 1.5 per cent.
Mobilgard 450 NC lubricant may help to:
- Protect against sludge formation
- Protect critical wear surfaces
- Neutralise acids produced in the combustion process
- Control carbon deposits and varnish formation, extending oil and filter life
- Protect silver bearings
- Handle water contamination without additive depletion
